Who is Catwoman? Catwoman is a fictional character from the DC Comics universe. Her real name is Selina Kyle, and she made her debut as the Cat in Batman's first issue in 1940. One of Batman's enemies and lovers, the two experience a grappling love-hate relationship, as Catwoman is a burglar who oftens does the wrong thing for the right reasons. Her weapon of choice is a bullwhip, and her outfit is a skin-tight jumpsuit with cat ears.
