Arsenal fans have been left shocked after learning which participant is the membership's highest earner, who is pocketing £275,000 every week.
The revelation has prompted somewhat of a meltdown on social media with many Gunners supporters left indignant and confused.
Some fans have even referred to as for Arsenal supervisor Mikel Arteta and sporting director Edu to be sacked after hearing the information.
It was Arsenal switch guru David Ornstein, talking on The Athletic Football Podcast, who revealed that the Gunners' prime earner is surprisingly Kai Havertz.
The north Londoners raised eyebrows when they splashed out £65m to sign the Germany international this summer after three underwhelming years at Chelsea.
Arteta has attempted to mould Havertz into more of a midfielder rather than a forward since his change to the Emirates and he produced five objectives and one help across 30 games for the north Londoners.
'He's on a high salary,' Ornstein stated. 'His primary wage is within the region of £275k-a-week. That has matched what he was on at Chelsea.'
Arsenal fans have reacted to the news on X, previously generally known as Twitter, with @aliftbll posting: 'Lost the title to [Manchester] City they usually thought the best way to bridge that gap was to spend £65m on Kai Havertz and give him the very best wage in the squad?
'Get Arteta and Edu out man. We're not seeing the promised land with these two donkeys.
'Arteta is at fault for requesting his signing [and] Edu is at fault for the payment/salary and so on. They're both at fault. Cease defending and excusing Arteta.'
One other Gunners supporter, @Sakkanel, posted: 'Regardless of the way you take a look at it. This is senseless.
'We are doing him a favour by making an attempt to resurrect his career, he shouldn't be the very best paid particularly after costing 65m.
'The least a supervisor should do if he's prepared to spend 65m on a Chelsea flop and make him the very best paid is to no less than play him in his most pure and greatest place to provide the player an opportunity of justifying the outlay.'
A 3rd Arsenal fan, @cashmoneyk11, stated: 'This supervisor is a joke this what dumb Arsenal followers consider is gonna make us profitable shopping for players off names and hype when they're bang average.
'[Emile] Smith Rowe didn't value us a penny and he's method better suited in midfield then Havertz, Havertz performs left again for his nation.'
@SHAURI_10, in the meantime, posted: 'Arteta must be investigated, the Havertz deal smells fishy for therefore many reasons. If I can say what I need to say now Elon [Musk] will droop me eternally.'
A fifth Arsenal supporter, @penaldo_pionel, stated: 'Screw that, Kai needs to be bought. We're a lot better without Kai in the workforce.
'I'm not going to be patient with a player incomes greater than [William] Saliba, Gabriel [Magalhaes] and [Bukayo] Saka.
'Players are going to start out asking for larger wages due to his over-inflated wage for such little return.'
Gunners fan @JKode8 posted: 'What??????????????????????????????????? He doesn't deserve even when he scores many objectives in the future. There are players who deserve the very best salary greater than Havertz.'
Another Arsenal supporter, @CircleGw81109, stated: 'Oh my god it's like [Mesut] Ozil another time. Why the f*** is he on a lot.'
