An image of the lady, who is supposedly the groom's mum prompted a stir when it was shared on social media just lately, and it's no marvel why.

In the snap, the lady could be seen stood subsequent to the bride, who's sporting a standard ivory strapless gown with a floral bouquet in hand.

However the mum can also be sporting a reasonably bridal wanting outfit, and many people even thought the snap seems to be like there are two brides.

The mum's long white gown has a sheet cape practice, which makes it look much more bridal.

She paired the gown with a cream hat and corsage, which users on Facebook group slammed for being excessive too.

Nevertheless, this isn't the first time a mother-in-law has tried to upstage the bride on her huge day.

Posting on Reddit, the sister of one other bride shared a snap of the groom's mum in a partly sheer white gown.

The outfit had off-white slip gown with a sheer layer on prime with plenty of intricate lace and floral designs.
