England have been dealt a blow after Marc Guehi was booked three minutes into their last-16 win over Slovakia, ruling him out of their quarter-final against Switzerland on Saturday. The Crystal Palace defender, one of England's best players at Euro 2024 so far, was given a yellow card for a challenge on David Strelec. Guehi had been played into trouble by Kieran Trippier and upended Strelec. Referee Umut Meler opted to book the centre back, whose challenge prevented Slovakia from launching a dangerous attack.
