Demi Lovato has revealed how she would respond if her daughter wanted to follow in her footsteps and become a celebrity - as she prepares for the release of her searing documentary Child Star. The 31-year-old landed her breakthrough role on Barney & Friends at the age of eight and became a Disney Channel personality shortly afterward. As she grew into an adult celebrity, she battled a host of personal demons, including bulimia, drug abuse and bipolar disorder.
