Acclaimed actress Gena Rowlands had died at age 94. The two-time Golden Globe winner passed away at her Indian Wells, California home on Wednesday afternoon, TMZ reports. She was surrounded by family, including her husband of 12-years, Robert Forrest, and eldest daughter, Alexandra Cassavetes, 58. No cause of death has been revealed at this time. She famously portrayed the older version of actress Rachel McAdams' Allie in her son Nick Cassavetes' beloved 2004 film The Notebook starring Ryan Gosling.
