The Simi Valley, California home where the 1982 horror film Poltergeist was filmed has been placed on the market for $1,174,999. The motion picture, which Steven Spielberg was a writer on, arrived in theaters in June of 1982, and was a commercial and critical success. It garnered three Oscar nominations and making $76.6 million worldwide, also spawning a pair of sequels in 1986 and 1988, and a remake in 2015.
