Jim Carrey has candidly revealed the reason he took on a role in new film Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - after previously announcing his retirement. The actor, 62, said in 2022 he wouldn't do anymore films claiming Sonic 2 was his final project. But in February this year it was revealed the star - who is thought to be worth £160 million - would be returning for the third film which also stars Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves and Colleen O'Shaughnessey.
