Sam Thompson has admitted that Valentine's Day felt like a 'punch to the gut' as he opened up about being single following split from Zara McDermott. It was revealed by MailOnline that the pair separated in December after five years together, with Zara, 28, moving out of the Chelsea home she shared with Sam, 32. Speaking on his Staying Relevant podcast on Valentine's Day, the TV personality told his best friend and co-host Pete Wicks that the romantic holiday was the 'longest day of the f***ing year'.
