A HOMEOWNER has advised how she was threatened with foreclosures after her House Proprietor's Association (HOA) claimed she had not paid her fees on time.

"I assumed it was an error at first. I was like that's not right," Adams advised CBS affiliate WFMY.
When Adams referred to as the management firm to dispute the fees, she was advised they might investigate the difficulty and phone her with more info.
Nevertheless, the subsequent time she heard from the management firm, she was given a letter threatening foreclosure and authorized charges.
"I didn't know what to do. I was caught. I even referred to as the headquarters of (my) bank," Adams advised WFMY.
Adams swiftly reached out to HOA with bank documentation proving she had not missed any of her payments.
"I obtained one other letter saying they closed my account and I have to call an lawyer. Within the meantime, they might still acquire charges," she added.
At a loss, she reached out to WFMY in hopes of helping her catch the HOA's consideration.
After being briefed on the state of affairs by Adams, WFMY contacted HOA, defined her state of affairs, and offered the identical documentation that was already offered to show she was in the clear.
Weeks later, WFMY acquired a name from HOA confirming the difficulty had been resolved.
HOA had reopened Adams' account, and her charges have been cleared.
