A flight taking holidaymakers again to London from Gran Canaria was diverted after a passenger suffered a medical emergency.

The British Airways aircraft took off from the popular Canary Islands vacation spot at 6.43pm yesterday night, after being delayed by greater than an hour.

Knowledge from FlightRadar24 exhibits the aircraft turned sharply over Brittany in north-west France on its option to Gatwick Airport.

It then landed at Brest Airport as an alternative at round at 10.53pm, based on The Sun.

A BA spokesperson stated: 'The flight diverted resulting from a buyer requiring medical attention the place it landed usually.

'Our groups are working to make sure clients are capable of proceed their journey as soon as potential.'
