After discovering an inflow of unpaid parking tickets, metropolis officials decided to create a win-win for everyone: residents can have their parking tickets dismissed with a $10 pasta donation.

Deputy Chief Lee Miller advised NBC affiliate WCSH that parking tickets for Previous City sometimes value $20, but can vary up to $40 relying on the infraction.

Fines will double after 30 days if left unpaid, too.
