DARTS star Wesley Plaisier has had his say on the "fartgate" drama which has enveloped the game like a nasty odor.
Darren Webster accused opponent Ron Meleunkamp of stinking up the joint throughout their MODUS Tremendous Collection conflict earlier this month.
Webster claimed his rival purposefully broke wind to distract him on the darts oche.
And he even took to social media to slam Meleunkamp afterwards.
Webster stated: "Whenever you play a man who farts and stinks the stage out and denies it, then kick you if you're enjoying the stall each throw as a result of they're s**t, good luck for the longer term but I'm not .
"Rant over. He was a okay**b, end of."
But Meleunkamp's pal Plaisier has rushed to the defence of the Dutchman.
He insists his buddy didn't fart through the match.
That's because if Meleunkamp had really had a bout of flatulence, Webster would have REALLY recognized about it!
Plaisier advised the Double Prime podcast: "It's utterly taken out of context by Webster's submit on social media.

"I heard from Ron that he did nothing incorrect and that there was a foul odor in the room all day.
"I do know that if Ron really farts, you don't get again up. But right here he was just falsely accused.

When asked if he'd ever tooted on stage, Plaisier laughed: "Definitely not on stage.
"I'll have by accident farted as soon as in the pub however that happens to everybody!"
