Global Citizen Festival has introduced plans to roar again into New York Metropolis this September.
The free live performance, organized to help finish extreme poverty, arrives at Central Park's Nice Lawn for the 12th time on Saturday, September 28.
"Since 2012, the International Citizen Pageant has referred to as Central Park its house, because of the long-standing partnership with NYC Parks and the City of New York," International Citizen cofounder and CEO Hugh Evans stated. "Annually, we've got welcomed 60,000 international citizens to the Great Lawn, who've played an important position in our mission, and we look ahead to coming again again on September 28 to drive extra action and commitments in the direction of ending extreme poverty."

"The International Citizen Pageant is more than only a good time for music lovers — it's a call to motion, inspiring us to be lively citizens of the world within the battle towards poverty, inequity, and local weather change."
Along with its legacy in New York, the International Citizen Pageant has additionally featured live shows in Montreal, Mumbai, Hamburg, Johannesburg and a September 2022 show in Accra, Ghana, that featured performances from Usher, SZA, Tems and extra.

"I'm excited that with International Citizen's help, the Parks Division and the Central Park Conservancy will open a restored Great Lawn this week so that an NYC gem is prepared for spring," New York Metropolis Councilmember Erik Bottcher stated, "and a season's value of inclusive cultural, philanthropic and recreational occasions that assist make New York the good metropolis that it is."
Because the launch of the International Citizen Pageant in 2012, over $43 billion has been distributed to nonprofit partners around the globe, impacting greater than 1.3 billion lives.
