FANS wonder if Erik ten Hag is "on a wind-up" after an astonishing boast following Manchester United's 1-1 home draw with Burnley.

And calls for Ten Hag to be axed flowed in.
United's new technical director Jason Wilcox watched on as United toiled.
And Red Devils' supporters were particularly upset to see Kobbie Mainoo hauled off after 65 minutes.

The draw left United sixth, still with a goal difference of just plus-one.
Meanwhile, Clarets' chief Vincent Kompany claims his team's performance shows they can still stay up.
The Manchester City legend told the BBC's Match of the Day: "We've earned the right to believe and hope."
