Jeff Stelling believes Arsenal have been cowardly and lacked bravery in their draw at Manchester City as he questioned the mentality of Mikel Arteta's men.

The Gunners left the Etihad with some extent, a outcome which has arguably seen fellow Premier League title challengers Liverpool emerge as the most important winners.

Arsenal star William Saliba insisted after the 0-0 draw that the north Londoners 'cannot be satisfied' with a point as they appear to land the top-flight trophy.

While Stelling was impressed with Arsenal's defending, he feels the Gunners have missed a 'unbelievable opportunity' and was left disillusioned with their assault.

'One of many worst games of the season,' the former Sky Sports News anchor advised talkSPORT.

'Neither aspect actually appeared like they needed to win or had the creativity to win. Arsenal have missed a unbelievable alternative there to down Man City.

'Man Metropolis have been lacking pretty much all of their defence, and their goalkeeper as nicely. They (Arsenal) have been by no means brave sufficient.

'Defensively, they have been sensible. Rock strong. Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba have been all incredible.

'I just assume it's a mentality factor. I don't assume they went there believing they might win.'

Roy Keane also raised concerns over Arsenal's mentality on Sunday and appropriately predicted that they might not depart Manchester with all three points.

'I don't see Arsenal profitable right here as we speak, I actually don't,' Keane stated on Sky Sports forward of the match.

'I just can't see it. I nonetheless lack perception on this workforce that they will come and win here. It's so simple as that.

'It's the psychological aspect of it. Can they come right here and perform and beat Man City? The reply for me continues to be no.'
