Justin Bieber sparks concern from fans asking if crying selfie is a 'sign' | 2NI3EQ6 | 2024-04-28 21:08:01
Justin Bieber fans have flocked to his Instagram to offer words of support after he posted a tearful selfie.
The Sorry hitmaker, 30, shared a carousel of images with his 292million followers, including shots of the singer performing on stage, as well as two selfies that have sparked concern.
Wearing a cream zip-up jumper and a green hat, the star could be seen with tears rolling down his face as he looks noticeably glum at the camera.
Fans were quick to ask if the singer was doing okay in the comment section, apart from his wife Hailey, who pointed out that her husband was 'a pretty crier.'
Natally Gibson wondered if the pictures could be 'a sign' while others expressed that his fanbase is here for him.
@jokayxo wrote: 'I hope you are doing okay, i hate to see tears running down your face.'
Fan page @jbiebertraacker said: 'I love that you're not afraid to show your vulnerability and emotions. It's always great to remember that behind every single celebrities, there's still a human being. YOU ARE LOVED. 🩷🩷🩷'
Others, however, thought that the throwback performance pictures, taken during his 2022 Justice tour, might point out that a live show announcement could be on the horizon.
The pop icon was spotted at this year's Coachella Festival alongside his wife of six years Hailey, 27.
He took the time to jump on stage with Wizkid and Temsto perform their 2020 hit song Essence.
It marked his second performance since he announced he was dealing with a serious health issue.
In 2022, Bieber, 30, revealed his facial paralysis diagnosis, known as Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which was the result of a virus and caused him to cancel several shows at the end of his world tour.
He shared a video at the time that highlighted his delayed facial movement and sparked concern from fans as he said: 'But obviously my body is telling me I've got to slow down and I hope you guys understand.'
In 2020, he also confirmed his battle with Lyme Disease and spoke about how the debilitating disease even 'affected his brain function.'
