And Arteta included Under-18 starlet Max Dowman, who joined his senior squad for today's training session at the young age of 14.

Dowman plays as an attacking midfielder and can also operate on the right wing.

The teenager's inclusion brought a big smile on Arsenal fans' face as many believe the Spanish tactician is already building the team's future.

One supporter tweeted: "Incredible heights Max is reaching already. One of the youngest to ever train with Arsenal's 1st team."

Dowman has made three appearances for Arsenal's Under-16 side and has also registered one goal as well as four assists in five matches for the Under-18s.

Ethan Nwaneri, 17, made history two years ago when he became the youngest ever player to compete in the Premier League at the age of 15.
