The men packed up their tents and belongings at around 8am this morning.

A number of asylum seekers were turned away from International Protection Accommodation Services on Dublin's Mount Street yesterday.

According to RTE News, letters that said there would be no further offers of accomodation at this time were circulated.

Charities gave out sleeping bags and tents to those without accomodation.

Meanwhile, Taoiseach Simon Harris has said "people's homes should be out of bounds" after protesters gathered outside his house as his young children went to bed.

Some 16 people turned up outside the Fine Gael politician's house with 'South Dublin Says No Close The Borders' signs on Thursday.

Harris was attending a funeral at the time of the protest.

Speaking after a Stormont meeting this morning, Harris said: "I don't like describing those sorts of things as protest.

"I have a very clear view in relation to this whether it's me whether it's an opposition politician, whether it's, it's quite frankly, anybody.

"I always think people's families and people's homes should be out of bounds.

"It was bedtime for my kids last night when this situation arose.

"I don't think it's appropriate."

Gardai were called to the scene after they were contacted by neighbours.

Northern Ireland's First Minister Michelle O'Neill has also said the demonstration was "totally inappropriate".

She added: "The Taoiseach has two young kids, and I think your home should be your sanctity, and I don't think that there's any tolerance, there shouldn't be any tolerance for that type of attack on someone's home."
