Netflix viewers have been shocked to their core over Richard Gadd's Baby Reindeer series and the unearthing of the 'real Martha'.
Internet sleuths discovered Fiona Harvey was likely the woman behind the character and interest piqued as it was announced Piers Morgan would interview her.
However, things haven't gone to plan as now Harvey, 58, has criticised the Uncensored host for his treatment of her and meagre payment for the interview.
She said she felt 'used' by him as he relentlessly questioned her over an infatuation with Gadd.
In the show, Martha stalks and harasses Gadd's character Donny with bizarrely phrased emails and texts as well as bursts of violence.
The 34-year-old writer and actor had pleaded with people to leave the 'real Martha' alone but this has fallen on deaf ears.
Harvey told the Daily Record: 'I have my own thoughts on it that I'd like to keep to myself but I wouldn't say I was happy. It was very rapid to try to trip me up. He did it fast paced to catch me off guard.'
She claims Morgan, 59, grilled her over the subject of 41,000 emails sent to Gadd for a 10 minute chunk of the interview.
In an attempt to defend herself, she hit back that even if the emails are true, it does not mean the entire saga was completely factual.
'It seemed to me that I was set up. I feel a bit used,' Harvey added.
Morgan reportedly described the interaction as a 'sparring match' between the pair, for which his interviewee claims she was only paid £250.
She claims she has been in 'hell' as she was hounded for interviews but caved to the former Good Morning Britain host because she liked him.
As part of the deal, the 'real Martha' was given a professional hair stylist and glam team to help prepare for the first ever on screen appearance.
'Piers said it went well,' Harvey continued. 'He referred to it as a sparring match. He landed a few punches on me and I landed a few punches on him. He asked me if I loved Richard Gadd and I said you've got to be joking.'
The 30-minute special will air on the Uncensored YouTube channel, which has 2.58 million subscribers, at 8pm tonight.
In a tweet, Morgan wrote: '*WORLD EXCLUSIVE* The real-life Martha from Baby Reindeer breaks cover and gives me her first TV interview about the smash hit Netflix show.
'Fiona Harvey wants to have her say & 'set the record straight.' Is she a psycho stalker? Find out tomorrow on @PiersUncensored.'
In parliament, Netflix insisted they took 'every reasonable precaution in disguising the real-life identities of the people involved in that story.'
Policy chief Benjamin King said that Netflix and Clerkenwell Films 'didn't want to anonymise that or make it generic to the point where it was no longer his story because that would undermine the intent behind the show.'
He added: 'Ultimately, it's obviously very difficult to control what viewers do, particularly in a world where everything is amplified by social media.
'I personally wouldn't be comfortable with a world in which we decided it was better that Richard was silenced and not allowed to tell the story.'
