Their current home is Stonebridge Road Stadium[/caption]

They currently play at Stonebridge Road Stadium, which has a capacity of under 5,000.

But they now look set for move to a stunning new arena as part of a £40m redevelopment project.

Ebbsfleet put forward plans to Gravesham Borough in October 2022 to build a stadium in Northfleet.

The arena will see capacity boosted to 8,000.

But it will also be surrounded by a new neighbourhood boasting up to 3,500 homes.

Plans for the redevelopment include a 300-bed hotel too.

While a "retail village" consisting of various shops, cafes and medical services will be build too.

At a council meeting approving the plans, chair Lee Croxton said: "I think that area desperately needs some sort of development."

Another councillor, Samir Jassal, added: "I don't think future generations would thank us for kicking something of this size which meets this amount of housing need down the road."

The plans for the new stadium and area received 330 letters of support.

But there were also 61 objections, mainly about the loss of nearby facilities that process rock minerals.

Some existing buildings will need to be demolished.

While the National Grid is concerned about access being blocked to high-voltage power lines.
