HEARTBREAK HIGH FANS, we have good and bad news for you. The good news? Your favourite messy teens are coming back for a third season. The bad news? It'll be their last.
Netflix has confirmed that the beloved Australian teen dramedy — the second season of which debuted at #1 in Australia and stayed on the Global Top 10 English TV series list for three consecutive weeks — has been renewed for a third and final season.

Will there be a season 3 of Heartbreak High?
Yes, Netflix have confirmed that there will be a season three of Heartbreak High, but it will also be the final instalment in the rebooted series.
There are no details yet on when it will commence filming or land on our screens, but we do know that the cast and crew will be reassembling in Sydney on Gadigal, Dharug, Dharawal and Ku-ring-gai country to bring the final year at Hartley High to life.
"She never got the letter — but now we get to see what happens next!" Netflix Director of Content ANZ Que Minh Luu said in a press release. "Renewing Heartbreak High for its final season is a major point of pride for us at Netflix. It has been a joy to work with the utterly cooked creative minds behind our favourite Aussie YA show and to bring our stories, our culture and our in-jokes to all the fans here at home and throughout the world. See you at muck up day."

"We aimed to create a show where Aussie young people are seen and heard and we are completely overwhelmed by the worldwide reaction to the stories of these characters.
