More and more customers across the U.S. have shared their complaints about their shopping experiences.

These have included the impact of anti-theft measures or changes in payment methods.

Brandon (@quietstroller) said his experience at a Walmart store on Sunday, May 5 had changed his shopping habits, on an X, formerly Twitter, post.

Firstly, the shopper complained about the length of time it took him to buy his item.

"I went to Walmart yesterday for soda and it took me 25 minutes to get in there," he said.

"Grab two 2x2liyers of soda and get to the checkout line to get out."

Brandon also complained about the payment and checkout options at the store.

"There was three cashiers open and no self-checkout," he said.

The U.S. Sun has previously reported on big self-checkout changes set to hit some Walmart stores.

The retailer will remove self-service kiosks from some locations to improve visitors' experiences.

"The decision was based on several factors, including feedback from associates and customers, shopping patterns and business needs in this area," a spokesperson for the company said.

Brandon finally complained about the controversial receipt check measure that many stores have adopted.

This practice is when a member of staff is placed between the checkout area and store exit to look over peoples' proof of purchase.

"Not to mention I was questioned at the door for a receipt that was in my hand in front of the lady's face," Brandon said.

"Obviously she's not getting paid enough to open her eyes.

"I absolutely will never be going back to Walmart."

CHECKING OUT

Brandon has not been the only shopper to share their anger with the new Walmart self-checkout changes.

One X user shared how they believed this change impacted their local store, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.

"Checking out at @walmart is suck a f***ing hassle now!

"No human cashiers and the self-checkout line is ALWAYS long as f***! Who thought THIS was a good idea?!" they said in their post.

The U.S. Sun had reached out to Walmart for comment.
