Carlisle was hit by two technicals in the final moments of Wednesday's contest in Manhattan.
He stormed onto the court late in the fourth quarter and was seen getting in the face of official Marc Davies.
The Indiana coach was apoplectic after officials reversed a double-dribble violation against the Knicks late in the game.
"I'm just really disappointed. Just really disappointed," Carlisle told reporters after the buzzer, per the NY Post.
"The two technicals, you've gotta make a stand for your guys.
"You've gotta stand up for what's right and what's not right, and that was it."
He revealed the Pacers had identified 29 questionable calls they claim unjustly went against them during Monday's Game 1, per ESPN.
However, Indiana had chosen not to send the film to the league.
"We always go through the film in games where it felt like the whistles weren't balanced, and we pull the clips, and there's a way you can submit them to the NBA office," Carlisle explained.

"In the playoffs when you submit things, the other team sees what you submit. And so, there were 29 plays in Game 1 that we thought were clearly called the wrong way.
"I decided not to submit them because I just felt like we'd get a more balanced whistle tonight.
"It didn't feel that way. I'm always talking to our guys about not making it about the officials, but we deserve a fair shot."
Following another night full of refereeing controversy, Carlisle confirmed the league would be receiving film from Wednesday's game.
He went on to list a number of calls Indiana believes went against them, including a "shocking" push on Tyrese Haliburton.

"I can promise you that we're going to submit these tonight. New York can get ready, they'll see them too," he added.
"Small-market teams deserve an equal shot. They deserve a fair shot no matter where they're playing."
Haliburton top-scored for the Pacers with 34 points as they threatened a second-half comeback.
But the All-Star guard was hesitant to blame the officials for the loss.
Let's not pretend like [officiating] is the only reason we lost. we just didn't play good enough," Haliburton said.
"We just got to be better."
The series heads to Indiana and the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night for a crucial Game 3.
