Michael Slater's sad fall from grace has been hit by a new twist after the former cricket star was hit with fresh domestic violence charges. It comes as Slater, 54, remains behind bars at one of Brisbane's most infamous watchhouses after being refused bail. The former Australian opening batter's case was heard in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday where he faces domestic violence charges stemming from a litany of alleged incidents on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
