Emma McKeon will not defend her Olympic 100m freestyle title in Paris after Shayna Jack secured her spot for an individual swim to complete her redemption story at the Australian swimming trials. Mollie O'Callaghan clinched first place with a time of 52.33 seconds, followed by Shayna Jack at 52.72 seconds. The result booked Jack her first individual Olympic swim in a hugely emotional moment after she considered quitting the sport and contemplated suicide following a 24-month doping ban.
