Pioneer of Australian music TV Andrew McVitty who has died at the age of 68. The producer, best known for pioneering rock concert series Nightmoves, passed following a short battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Lisa Wang, and step-children Jin, Mei and Wei. According to TV Tonight, McVitty's groundbreaking career in music television began in 1977 when, at just 21-years-old, he was tasked with creating an experimental music program for HSV7 Melbourne.
