Wolves agree £12.7m deal with Braga to sign Rodrigo Gomes... with Gary O'Neil's side beating competition from Atletico Madrid to land winger

Wolves have pipped Atletico Madrid to agree a £12.7million deal with Sporting Braga for Rodrigo Gomes. The 20-year-old can play as a winger or wing-back and impressed last season on loan at Estoril where he scored seven goals in 30 games. Gomes is due in England this week ahead of undergoing a medical and agreeing a five year contract. He has been capped four times at under-21 level for Portugal, scoring an impressive three goals in that time.
