Marty Sheargold has stepped down from the Triple M Melbourne Breakfast Show. Triple M confirmed the news on Thursday morning, stating the 53-year-old comedian and radio broadcaster will not return to the program, but will continue his podcast and national 3pm slot with the network. Sheargold said he wanted to spend more time with his family and prioritise 'self-care' after a mysterious three-month absence last year following an alleged incident at the AFL Grand Final.
