Beloved Australian actress Barbara 'Babs' Wheelton has died aged 93, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. The veteran actress was born in London in 1931 and later moved to Australia, where she appeared in several iconic TV shows in the 60s and 70s. Wheelton's family confirmed her passing on Monday in a heartbreaking obituary published in The Age. 'It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara (Babs) Wheelton on Sunday 18th August 2024,' they began.
