Jessica Simpson has been putting in the time and travel miles while working on her first new studio album in 14 years. But the singer, 43, enjoyed some rare downtime this weekend with the youngest of her three children: daughter Birdie Mae, five. Jessica —who shares her kids with longtime husband and former NFL star Eric Johnson — uploaded a sweet selfie with Birdie to her Instagram on Saturday. For the photo, the mother-daughter duo leaned in close, with Jessica playfully sticking her tongue out for the camera and Birdie smiling.
