Cody Simpson has announced his next career move, after failing to qualify to compete for Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The singer-turned-competitive swimmer, 27, is set to perform at the MCG later this month at the AFL grand final, alongside American pop star Katy Perry. Simpson, who previously performed at the 2022 AFLW grand final, confirmed the exciting news on Wednesday in a statement. 'I'm stoked beyond words to have been asked to sing the biggest national anthem of the year at the AFL grand final,' Cody began.
