David Beckham accepted an Emmy award for his Netflix docuseries over video call as producers rang him from the ceremony in LA. The former footballer, 49, and his wife Victoria, 50, were nominated in a whopping five categories for the 2023 Netflix documentary Beckham: What Makes David Run. At The Creative Arts Emmys in Los Angeles on Saturday, the docuseries triumphed in the Documentary or Nonfiction Series category. The award was accepted by producer Fisher Stevens - who was sure to call the footballer during the celebration to let him know of the success.
