Hinting that a huge nuptials could take centre stage in the Christmas finale, the actor got back into character as Smithy as he prepared to film the scenes on the famous Barry Island in Wales. Hinting that fans could finally get an answer to the proposal cliffhanger that ended the previous episode, the scenes will no doubt set tongues wagging that Smithy is the lucky groom set to tie the knot.
