Katie Holmes appeared to be in a delightful mood as she was pictured walking in New York City Monday afternoon. The actress, 45, who is adapting to life as an empty nester - as her daughter Suri Cruise, 18, has moved out of state to attend college at Carnegie Mellon University - was clad in a colorful ensemble on the sunny day in the Big Apple. The Dawson's Creek actress was clad in a red coat with a black top and billowing black pants, rounding out the ensemble in ballet flats.
