Anton Du Beke has opened up on his 'awful' Strictly partners after showing his support for Giovanni Pernice amid misconduct scandal. The pro dancer and judge, 58, was paired with celebrities such as Ruth Langsford, Ann Widdecombe, Lesley Joseph and Esther Rantzen. Anton was dragged into the misconduct scandal after reportedly 'raising concern' due to his '1970s-style behaviour' with former dance partner Laila Rouass. Now, he has insisted that his Strictly training studio never became heated - because he was usually paired with older women who were always going to be 'awful' dancers.
