Janey Godley has revealed that having to tell her autistic daughter Ashley that she had cancer was the 'worst part' of her ordeal. The Scottish stand-up comedian, 63, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2021 and after chemotherapy she is now receiving palliative care at an end-of-life care hospice. She has told in a new interview how hard it was to break the tough news to Ashley, 38, - a comedian and radio star - because she is a 'catastrophiser'.
