Boy Swallows Universe creator Trent Dalton was left stunned when he received a shout-out from Pearl Jam during their Gold Coast concert over the weekend. Taking to Instagram, Dalton reshared a video from the gig, where lead singer Eddie Vedder mentioned his novel. The rocker name-dropped the characters Eli and Gus Bell from the book, which was turned into a Netflix series last year. Vedder, 59, dedicated the gig to 'two bad a** teenage fellas that I've just become a big fan of.
