Wicked star Cynthia Erivo may have let slip a major spoiler about the future of the blockbuster musical. The actress, 37, plays Elphaba in the film, which is loosely based on the 1995 novel of the same name by Gregory Maguire before it was transformed into a hit Broadway musical in 2003. The film was split into two parts to capture the full scope of the story, with Wicked Part 2 due out in November 2025.
