BBC star Peter Grant has sadly died following a short battle with cancer. News of broadcaster's tragic death was confirmed by his Radio Newcastle and Teesside co-star Simon Logan on Sunday. He took to his Facebook to announce: 'So very difficult to post that we have lost another radio legend and my great friend of 25 years.' Sharing a heartfelt tribute to his friend, Simon wrote: 'Peter Grant was a wonderful and talented person that was known for presenting radio and TV shows on many different platforms .
