Jasmin Savoy Brown 'joins Scream 7 cast... while ANOTHER beloved character is dropped from upcoming sequel'

A familiar face is joining the cast of Scream 7. Jasmin Savoy Brown will be returning as Mindy Meeks-Martin, Variety reports. Brown, 30, played Mindy in 2023's Scream IV and 2022's Scream. Mason Gooding plays Mindy's brother Chad. Brown's return isn't the only addition to the Scream cast. Joel McHale will also be joining on as Mark Evans, Sidney Prescott's (Neve Campbell) husband, Deadline reports. McHale, 53, is currently working on the film in Atlanta.
