Max George was supported by his mother on Thursday as he made his first appearance in public since having a pacemaker fitted. The singer had the surgically implanted device fitted in December to treat an undisclosed heart condition, but has since complained of a fluttering sensation in his chest that doctors are yet to diagnose. Having been released from hospital on Christmas Day, George, 36, spent much of the festive period at home with actress girlfriend Maisie Smith before travelling to his mum Barbara's home in Salford, Greater Manchester.
