The first time I got really, really drunk, I was 14, visiting home for the weekend from boarding school and spending time with my boyfriend who was at another school. It was still early days so when he invited me to a party, I was happy but also nervous as I wanted to make a good impression on all of his friends. There were a few adults around, but we were left to our own devices and there was a lot of wine at dinner.
