This is the surprising moment Kathy Bates ripped up her acceptance speech at the 2025 Golden Globes on Sunday. The actress, 76, was up for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series - Drama for her work on the hit CBS drama Matlock. But unfortunately for the star she missed out on the award to Anna Sawai, 32, for her work on Shogun. And after Anna's win was announced, the Misery star put on a brave face and made sure to clap along with the other stars but as the live reaction camera panned away from her she was caught tearing up her speech.
