Benson Boone delighted audiences with his flip-filled performance during last Sunday's Grammy Awards, and now clips of him as a teenage competitive diver have resurfaced and gone viral. Five years before he ever made a splash in the music industry, the 22-year-old precocious pop star was a gifted member of the Monroe High School diving team in Washington State. Benson competed in the WIAA Boys State Swimming and Diving Championships 4A three years in a row, landing sixth place in the one-meter diving event in 2020 and seventh place in 2019 - according to DiveMeets.
