For decades they were considered one of the 90s' biggest girlbands, hitting the charts with songs such as Hold On and Free Your Mind. But for members of the band En Vogue, their illustrious career has proven less fruitful then some would think, with 'predatory' record deals barring them from reaping the financial rewards. The group first rose to fame in 1989 when their single Hold On reached number two in the US Hot 100, and their follow-up album Funky Divas reached the top 10 in both the US and UK.
