Kansas City Chiefs hit by scheduling blow after bombshell request to the NFL
The NFL is reportedly not ready to grant the Kansas City Chiefs' request to be a staple in the league's Christmas Day game. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Co. have played on December 25 for the past two seasons. Earlier in April, The Athletic reported that the recently-dethroned Super Bowl champions requested to be regulars in the December 25 lineup. However, NFL VP of broadcast planning and scheduling Mike North recently addressed the apparent inquiry from Clark Hunt's team.
