Oprah Winfrey just reminded me that my undergarments don't always have to work so hard during wedding season. Well, she didn't say those exact words. The media mogul recently wore a pretty tan midi dress as she spoke to an audience during a special presentation. And while her story was captivating, it was the ruching on her dress that kept my attention. As someone going through perimenopause (which, ironically, was the topic of her special) and lots of body changes, I've become quite the expert on shapewear and the types of clothing that look good on me without it — ruched dresses are at the top of that list.
