All day they came. Off planes, cars, camper vans, buses, trains and cycles. Some even made the journey on foot. An army mobilised from every corner of Scotland and beyond. The most joyous procession of humanity you've ever seen. Their trolley bags clattered along Munich's pavements before being hastily deposited in hotel rooms, many of which resembled rabbit hutches. A minute spent away from this party was a minute wasted.
