Gia Carides rose to fame in the 1992 Baz Luhrmann-directed romantic comedy Strictly Ballroom. And the actress said she is more than ready to star in a long awaited sequel, hinting that it could be on the cards. 'I would be completely thrilled,' the 59-year-old tells Stellar Magazine of the prospect of a follow up film. 'I think it could be extraordinary – but whether Baz wants to do that or not is another question' she added.
